Project Award: Homes England Framework.

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the small sites development framework with Homes England.

The contract runs for 10 years and will deliver up to 70 new homes across the country. The developments will be predominantly residential but may include other industries, for example commercial, retail, educational or leisure.

The development type categories include:

  • Conversions, Refurbishment and Works to Listed Buildings
  • Residential Led Development
  • Extra Care and Supported Living
  • 100% Affordable Housing Developments

Progress Update: Abingdon Preparatory School

We are currently on site at Abingdon Preparatory School, the project is to deliver an extension alteration works, yesterday the Headmasters at Abingdon and Abingdon Preparatory School joined Site Manager, Roy Parker, for a look at the progress of the new facilities.

Project Awarded: Arthur Hill Pool, Reading

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the contract for the project at Arthur Hill Pool in Reading.
The works involve the design and construction of 15 new homes, comprising of 1-bed and 2-bed apartments across two blocks and the provision of bicycle and car parking spaces, including demolition & enabling works.
The Arthur Hill Pool administration building is locally listed and is being retained and refurbished as part of the works.
The scope also includes extensive external works including site roads, footpaths, fencing, screen walling, parking areas, landscaping, drainage and service connection works.

Project Completion: Family Building, Foxhills Country Club, Ottershaw

We are pleased to announce the completion of the Family Building at Foxhills Country Club.
 
Foxhills provides 2 champion golf courses, alongside 4 squash courts and swimming pools. The Manor can accommodate a very large number of guests, with their 70 bedrooms and 3 restaurants, with a luxurious award winning spa and health club.
 
Feltham Construction were appointed to deliver a new family building at the club. The family building houses of a creche and soft play area for infants and young children, a deli and kitchen were also included within the scope, as well as an additional lobby to accommodate a further number of guests. Another swimming pool was constructed, with associated viewing areas and changing facilities, all these amenities are located on the ground floor.
 
The first floor houses a fitness studio and Children’s exercise areas.

Company Update: Freedom Day

Yesterday marked ‘Freedom Day’ in England, the lifting of lockdown restrictions in the Country.
We at Feltham are continuing to maintain Coronavirus guidelines where possible, we understand how important it is to keep our staff and visitors safe.
Feltham are steadily welcoming employees back into the office in the transition from working from home to the office.
We are very pleased that we are heading in the direction to a ‘normal’ way of life, but for now continue to stay safe.
