Development of Arthur Hill Pool, 225 King’s Road, Reading, Berkshire

The project at Arthur Hill Pool in Reading involves the design and construction of 15 new homes, comprising of 1-bed and 2-bed apartments across two blocks and the provision of bicycle and car parking spaces, including demolition & enabling works.

The scope also includes extensive external works including, site roads, footpaths, fencing, screen walling, landscaping, drainage and service connection works.

The Arthur Hill Pool administration building is locally listed and is being retained and refurbished as part of the works.

Sustainability principles are central to the scheme, with zero carbon principles being a key requirement of the delivery.

Extension and Alteration Work, Abingdon Preparatory School, Abingdon

We are currently on site at Abingdon Preparatory School, the project is to deliver an extension and alteration works to deliver a new music school, science lab and four additional classrooms.

72 Bed Care Home, The Broadway, Didcot

This project in Didcot, Oxfordshire is for the design and construction of a four storey, 72 Bed Care Home building of 3,981m².

The new building will provide day spaces, reception areas, a café, plus fully equipped bedrooms.

The scope also includes the delivery of all associated external works, drainage and mains services.

This scheme is for the Care Concern group.

Due for Completion June 2022.

31 Dwellings, Blenheim Court, Sycamore Drive, Carterton

We are very pleased to announce that the works are underway for our project at Blenheim Court.
The demolition work is currently taking place on site, in preparation for the redevelopment.
The scope comprises of the construction of a 31 -bed independent scheme for over 55’s, including all service connections and infrastructure works.
Our Construction Director for the scheme mentioned how we are pleased we are to be working with Cottsway again.

73 New Dwellings, Over 3 Sites, for Oxford City Housing

Feltham Construction have been awarded the contract for the 73 Dwellings in Oxford, we are extremely pleased to be working alongside Oxford City Housing on this scheme.

The project is spilt into 3 sections of works:

Section 1 – Cumberledge Close: Works at Cumberledge Close will comprise of the design and construction of nine, three storey houses, together with associated drainage and external works. All houses on this site will be for social rent.

Section 2 – Elsfield Hall: On this site will be the design and construction of 26 residential apartments, in a three storey block, as well as communal areas. All units are to be a mix of social rent, shared ownership and private sales. This scheme also involves the construction of a new site  entrance, car parking and security fencing.

Section 3 – Between Towns Road: This site will provide 35 residential apartments, in a five storey block, including communal areas, in additional this scheme also includes the construction on three, three storey houses. All units on site are to be a mix of social rent, shared ownership and private sale. Off site works includes paving  and landscaping works to site entrance and footpaths to Between Towns Road.

New Boarding Houses, Charterhouse School, Godalming

This scheme at Charterhouse School is to deliver two high quality Boarding Houses to accommodate 128 students, for their growing School community.

The Boarding Houses will provide a combination of single, twins and quad room accompanied by en-suite and shared bathroom facilities.

Accommodation for the House Master, Matron and Tutors will also be delivered. as well as ancillary areas, including  communal common rooms, fully equipped laundry areas, a matron surgery, plus kit and boot rooms, providing the highest standard of care for the pupils and staff.

Each Boarding Houses will provide 1,973M2 of living space.

All services and external works are included.
