The Oaksey House project included the refurbishment and extension to the existing structure, to provide a first class resource centre to deliver rehabilitation and fitness facilities for injured and retired jockeys.

The works included the installation of a new high quality, state of the art hydrotherapy pool accompanying the new and improved treatment rooms and changing amenities.

Relocation of the first floor function room, to ground level, allowed a wider space to house the gym and fitness studio area, these works meant that a range of patients, with varied needs can be treated and provided with outstanding facilities and service.

Oaksey House was opened by the HRH the Princess Royal, Patron of the Injured Jockeys Fund, also in attendance were Chairman Brough Scott MBE & President Sir Anthony McCoy OBE.
