Highwood Copse School is a new Primary school located in Newbury, West Berkshire.

Feltham were engaged on a design and build basis by West Berkshire Council and were delighted to be working alongside them again.

The project is a modern, single storey Primary School (1FE) with capacity for 250 pupils built on a greenfield site and achieved BREEAM Excellent. The new building provided classrooms for children from Nursery to Yr 6 together with seperate Science and ICT classrooms, staffrooms and toilet facilities. The school is in excess of 1500m2 and is finished with a distinctive trapezoidal front elevation with Cedar cladding which invites focus on the main entrance.

External works included playgrounds, playing fields, a MUGA and a drop off area.
