Feltham were proud to deliver the Woodland Quad at Wellington College, our first major project for the school, undertaken alongside the construction of the new Sixth Form Centre. Both projects were realised in strong collaboration with MICA Architects, ensuring the College’s vision was translated into high-quality, inspiring buildings.
The Woodland Quad creates a new heart for the College campus — a vibrant courtyard framed by modern teaching, social, and communal spaces. Set against the wooded backdrop of the estate, the new buildings combine carefully detailed brickwork, timber, and glazing to complement the historic surroundings while projecting a contemporary identity.
Inside, the facilities are designed with flexibility in mind, providing classrooms, breakout areas, and specialist spaces that adapt seamlessly to the diverse needs of staff and pupils. Delivered in parallel with the Sixth Form Centre, the project demonstrates Feltham’s ability to successfully manage and deliver multiple complex schemes simultaneously, while maintaining an exceptional standard of finish.
The significance of the Woodland Quad has also been recognised beyond the College, with the project recently featured in the Architects’ Journal as a case study of educational design excellence.
Together, Woodland Quad and the Sixth Form Centre have enhanced the daily life of Wellington College, showcasing Feltham’s capability in educational construction and our strong collaboration with MICA Architects.
