The Castles History
The structure was erected in the 11th century, during William the Conquers reign. The Castle at Windsor is a weekend home to Queen Elizabeth II and is the favoured venue for many royal events, such as weddings, banquets and more recently for the marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, furthermore it is the worlds largest Castle, that is still inhibited.
The Project
The project at the historic and prestigious Windsor Castle comprises of the partial demolition to the existing structures and the extension and refurbishment of the Admissions Centre and surrounding buildings.
The scope includes a new education centre to the existing Pug Yard, plus reconfiguration of Yard Workshops, as well as external landscaping works and new entrance ramp.
