Project Award: Replacement of Integration iCollege, Badgers Hill, Calcot.

We are pleased to be working alongside West Berkshire Council again on the project for the Replacement of Integration iCollege at Badgers Hill, Calcot.
The 2-storey replacement structure will provide more space for holistic general teaching, dedicated space for individual work and 1:1 teaching, plus devoted outside social space for recreation time.
The site will have access to outdoor sports courts and land for the development of vocational activities, including horticulture.
The works also include demolition of the existing building.

Project Award: Creative Arts Centre, Charterhouse School

We are pleased to announce that we have are working alongside Charterhouse School again on a new Creative Arts Centre.
The scope comprises of the construction of a two storey extension to the Art Studio.
Further works include extensive refurbishment to the John Derry Technology Centre and existing Art Studio, plus external landscaping.
The project will be completed in 3 phases completing this summer, next year and then continuing for completion in summer 2024.

On Site: St Andrews Church, Bradfield College

We are currently on site at St Andrew’s Church, Bradfield College. The project comprises of the refurbishment of to the grade II* listed building, which is situated in the local churchyard adjacent to Bradfield College.

The refurbishment includes the construction of new mezzanine floors within the seating aisle areas and large internal glazed screens to subdivide the church, these works will form a contemporary, multi-functional study centre including the library, break out zones and a refreshment area.

The newly constructed, high-quality, modern link will be connected to a nearby College building and will provide direct access into the church from the College campus.

The project will also deliver associated external works, drainage and services installations.

The construction is due for completion in the October 2023, following which the College will complete the fit-out before opening the new facility.

Project Completion: Upavon Way, Carterton

We are pleased to announce the completion of the project at Upavon Way, Carterton. The scheme is for 46 dwellings, 11, one bed flats, 16, two bed flats, 10, two bed houses and 9, three bed houses. 15 are for shared ownership and 31 for rent.

We were delighted to be working alongside Cottsway Housing again on this development.

Project Award: 71 New Dwellings, Court Place Gardens, Oxford

We are pleased to announce that we are working alongside Oxford University Development, a joint venture between Oxford University and Legal & General, on a new 71 home development as part of a 84 home project for graduate students. The scope comprises the construction of 71 new traditional homes, housing a mix of two and three bed two storey units between Rose Hill and Iffley, south of Oxford.

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

This Thursday, communities throughout the UK will join together to honour & celebrate the historic milestone, for 70 years of her majesty’s service.

Feltham Construction will be closed from the 2nd June and will re-open again on the 6th June.

Project Awarded: 50 Bed Care Home, Stratton-on-Fosse

We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the project at Stratton-on-Fosse, for a new care home.

The project comprises of the design and construction of a 50-bed care home with all associated enabling, externals and drainage works.

We are delighted to be working with the Care Concern group on this scheme.

Due for completion May 2023.

Stress Awareness Month

In support of Stress Awareness Month in the U.K we are putting a link below, which provides resources and detailed information about managing stress.
As well as offering coping mechanisms to deal with personal stress, the society has identified a number of ways to alleviate stress in the workplace.
It is not just about coping with stress, it is also about recognising it and learning how to approach the situation.
In light of the recent events with the challenges and strain of the pandemic the society has chosen ‘Community’ as the theme this year.
