Oaken Holt Care Home, Farmoor

The project comprised of the design and build of a 40 bed Dementia Care Home unit. The building spans over 2 storeys providing accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, functions rooms, dining and living areas, as well as fully equipped treatment rooms and beautiful outdoor areas.

The bedrooms and bathrooms required specialist works and equipment, including the installation of hoists, levers and emergency alarms. The works consisted of piled foundations, concrete ring beams, load bearing masonry, beam and block flooring and a timber roof structure.

Internal mechanical and electrical systems and external drainage works were also included on this scheme.

Feltham Construction also delivered works at Vale House in 2012 for and new Alzheimers Care Home in Botley.
