St Swithun's Junior School

Winchester

Overview

St Swithuns Junior School is an independent school based in Winchester, Hampshire. It educates pupils aged from 3 to 11 and is situated on the same site as the Senior School.

The Junior School was originally added in the late 1960's however after a fire in 1974 the Junior School was rebuilt.

In 2014, Feltham Construction were appointed as the main contractor for phase one of the school development to replace the existing Junior School Building. The new Junior School created facilities to accommodate approximately 260 pupils, providing new classrooms, specialist classrooms for ICT, science, art, music, and a new library.

Following on from the success of phase one, in 2015 Feltham Construction were further awarded phase two of the development to create a new School Hall which includes a performing arts space and gym.

The new Junior School building was completed in September 2015 followed by the new School Hall in March 2016.
